SEO Transfer window opens

Well today see’s the official opening of the SEO transfer window, may sound a little bit silly but January is when a lot of companies end contract with their current SEO providers, and if there not happy with what they have achieved there moving clubs,

Well, this is a question we asked ourselves when we left the offices of Dennis publishing, especially after seeing how many magazines they manage to publish each month (see a selection below). Some of the stories about companies, individuals and what actually goes on in the world of search engine optimisation (SEO) would be an interesting read for many marketing managers around the UK. We have been writing on forums alot recently and been speaking with industry professionals and customers. It seems to me that there is alot of tension in the industry and alot of people want a platform to speak from about they operate. There are alot of egos in search engine optimisation services. What Can You do If Your Website is Penalised By Google

Google penalties are very harmful for your website from an SEO point of view. Prevention is always better then solution or recovery. Hence, it is better to prevent your site from Google penalties, but if your site’s already got penalised?

First and foremost, on what basis has your site been penalised. Recovery normally involves fixing the cause of penalty and, waiting for Google to filter their SERP. It may take 2-3 months to recover after fixing the cause of penalties.

Google Re Inclusion Request

If your website has lost his page rank or Google has de-indexed your site, you should report re inclusion request through Google’s webmaster tool, but before submitting Re Inclusion Request fix the cause of penalties. Google’s algorithm can automatically remove penalties if your website is in Google’s index. You can use Google indexing pages to check is your website is still in Google’s index or not.

To submit the re inclusion request login to your Google webmaster tool and use the given link:-

How much time does reconsideration take?

Whenever a ReInclusion request has been made it goes in queue for a manual review process by Google’s staff. It may take several weeks to get checked for violations of Google’s Guidelines for Webmaster. Once reviewed, you will get a message in your inbox to confirm that your reincluseion request has been processed. You can find this message in your inbox by logging into your webmaster tools account.

Prevention is always better then recovery. Hence, it makes sense to prevent your site from Google penalties. You should always update your site and keep track of changes in Google’s indexing algorithm.
